Involvement in Boerboel Breed

I grew up with dogs, my parents instilled a deep love for animals and how to look after them responsibly. In my thirty years of marriage we started with Staffordshire terriers and acquired our first Boerboel in 2006. I bought my first Boerboel from Klein Sandfontein Boerboel Stud, and part of my contract indicated that I should attend shows and ensure that my dogs are appraised. This was in 2015. I attended my first show and the rest is history. I have been a member since 2017 and a Board Member since 2019. I attended several appraisal courses and currently I am an appraiser .

This is a wonderful breed and we should ensure that we take this breed forward by concentrating on responsible breeding practices and the health of our dogs.
